Via Lemovicensis is the latin name of one of the four ways of the pilgrimage to Saint-James. It goes through Limoges, its meeting place and departure is the abbey of the Madeleine in Vezelay. It crosses the country from stage to stage until the village of Ostabat, where it merges with Via Turonensis. The road passes in its first section, for Bourges and Chateauroux. However, there is a variation to the south passes through Nevers.
